If you thought you heard Wil's famous "Let's Go!!" and then Daren's blasting guitar riff at the intro of the new promo commercial for new hit CBS TV show "Courting Alex" you were not hearing things. That is the intro from the song Come See Me from the Let's Go! CD. It has been used in numerous TV shows and movies over the past few years. Other shows that have used the song are "Boy Meets World", "ABC Wide World of Sports" and "Wonderful World of Disney".

Choya's lead guitar player and part time singer Daren Sweet is launching his new web site this spring. . Daren has been working on his solo project with Let's Go! producer Steve Parrish. The Choyas are very pleased to anncounce David Curran as our new drummer. David hails from the East Coast, but moved to the So Cal area when he started playing drums at age 15. He played out in the LA scene with his band in the late 80's/early 90's with such acts as Firehose and Weezer. David grew up loving the Police, Van Halen and the Cars. With David in the fold the Choyas will be working on new songs and hope to start the third CD soon!!

The Choyas are proud to announce that Jared (Jay to his friends) Spishock has taken over the bass duties for long time Choya Rob Weinstock. Jay is also a great drummer and him and Daren go way back to the early 90's when they were both in some bands together. We wanted to say welcome to Jay and wish Rob all the best of luck doing his magic gig!
